The Obesity Management Collaborative UK (OMC-UK) is a professional support network of health care professionals with an interest in obesity treatment. We aim to support existing weight management services and the development of new weight management services; ensuring that people living with obesity are getting equal access to the support and care that they need.
We will communicate the needs of patients and health care professionals in the obesity field to the relevant policy makers and national decision makers in the UK.
Our Mission
To ensure that all health care professional and patient stakeholders in the obesity field, have a shared understanding of the clinical landscape and effectively inform and support each other.
To ensure healthcare professionals with an interest in obesity, have the education, support, and tools they need to set up and deliver weight management services.
To empower HCPs to confidently support their patients when advising them on what specialist weight management support is available to them locally.
